Sandra Wiesner has been a ballet teacher at the Norwegian National Ballet School in Oslo since 2001. She was educated by the Paris Opera Ballet School, and the National Conservatory in Lyon (CNSMD) and danced as a soloist in national companies in Belgium, France and Germany.
In 2010, she was awarded the classical ballet teacher diploma from the French government, based on her exceptional experience as a professional teacher. In 2013 she was appointed as associate professor in classical ballet from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
Sandra was invited as a guest teacher at the English National Ballet School, The National Academy of the Arts in Oslo and various ballet schools in Norway as well as international workshops and summer intensives like the Nordic Ballet Seminar Ballet, Summer Dance Intensive at the Gothenburg Opera, International Summer Dance Workshop in Corsica and the International Workshop Studio Scouratoff’s.
Sandra coaches her students successfully for international ballet competitions, as many of them become finalists or winners in competitions such as Grasse, The Nordic Baltic Ballet Competition in Sweden and the Prix de Lausanne.
