Currently teaching at the Paris Opera Ballet School, the greatest pleasure of Eric Camillo is to witness the improvement of his students, to see them flourish as professional dancers. He is always present for them in moments of doubt and whenever they are in need. He accompanies them step by step, and continues to guide them, even when they have reached the summit.

2002 – Present: DANCE PROFESSOR, PARIS OPERA BALLET AND SCHOOL. Appointed Dance Professor of the Paris Opera Ballet and Teacher of the 2nd Division Boys of the Paris Opera Ballet School since 2004.

During the last 15 years, Eric mounted a great number of ballets: In particular:

DANCING CAREER SOLOIST
THE PARIS OPERA BALLET — 1985-2002 In 1985, Eric Camillo joined the Paris Opera Ballet when Rudolf Nureyev was the Artistic Director. He was promoted “Soloist” at the age of 19. During his career, he performed in numerous classical productions of the company and often as a lead. He was also chosen by Rudolf Nureyev to participate in his world tour “Nureyev and Friends”. Eric Camillo was also a 1st Prize winner at the Concours International de Danse in Paris in 1990 and winner of the Prize of AROP (The Friends of the Paris Opera) in 1991.
